This panel is called the Unexpected Love Life of Dusk Shine. For this panel, we will talk about a series revolving an alternate universe of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, where it revolves around a genderswapped Twilight Sparkle and his new friends with 5 of the mane six. We will discuss the story, the characters, the fanfic, the manga, and the differences from this series to the show.
Keeping Friendship Magic is a grassroots movement that combines friendship lessons learned from the series with real world psychology and sociology in order to strengthen the fandom. The focus of this panel will be on the parallels between how villains like Discord and the Sirens created disharmony and how we bronies can fall into the same traps if we're not careful. The panel will explore psychological reasons why this happens and discuss solutions to keep our bonds of friendship magic. This panel is meant to be a lecture and presentation regarding the first feature-length MLP: FIM movie: Equestria Girls. The intent is to explore the film's characterization of the ponies as girls, its plot structure, and various subtextual elements within the writing and presentation, in attempt to prove a greater depth of story that might have been missed on first viewing, and address some of the contentious opinions prevalent among the MLP fandom.
Keeping Friendship Magic is a grassroots project that combines friendship lessons from the show with real world psychology and sociology in an effort to unite the fandom even stronger than we are now. This panel will explore interpersonal relationships and how we make bonds with those who are different from ourselves. In show lessons learned from Maud Pie and the dynamic between Applejack and Rarity will be examined and given a real world context. Thepanel will also discuss tips to keep in mind and pitfalls to watch out for when seeking to connect with more bronies in your area.
